Have been here a few times. Sub's are pretty good. My son went there a couple of weeks ago to get carry out for us. When he got back 2 of the 3 beef sandwiches had cheese and mayo only. No meat. He goes back and they were closed. Don't know about you but $5 for a cheese sandwich is expensive. He ended up having to go some where else for sandwiches. He went back the next day with the cheese sandwiches explaining he asked for 3 beef sub's 2 with only cheese. He's ordered that way before meaning no lettuce or tomato or onion. They gave him a hard time and said it was his fault. They owner finally gave him his money flinging it at him. We will never go back. There was no reason to be treated that way.

We love this place! Free lunch delivery makes me want to order from here every day! The subs are delicious. Our favorites are the Italian and the Meatball. The soup is always pretty great and the desserts are yummy. We love the Tiramisu and the Italian Ices are my kids' favorites. The lasagna is not amazing, but I wouldn't go here for it anyway, we just happened to order it for a child one time. The ravioli is good though. The chips and a drink for $1 extra? Such a deal! It's a very reasonable place...the most reasonable around, actually. We love it and would definitely miss it if we ever move!

This place is my new go-to place. My first time ordering in the middle of a snow storm, and the order was here within 20-25 minutes. My girlfriend and I both ordered an Italian Sub, which was awesome, and we got a pizza for the kids. The pizza size vs. price surprised me. The pizza literally filled the box, and it tastes good. The cole slaw and potato salad are awesome, and I'm picky when it comes to both. I will definitely be back, especially since I'm moving closer.

First Visit Lo Lo's is a throwback to the Old School Chicago neighborhood, corner pizza parlor / restaurant. Plenty of different sandwiches that taste like they did when submarine sandwiches were art not mass produced corporate crud. The meat was fresh, the cheese tasty, bread baked this morning, and the dressing perfect. Had the mixed, 6" Italian meat sub, potato chip and drink special; all for $4.25. My wife had a 6" turkey sandwich, including same special and price. I am told by locals that the meatball sandwich is great but on a 90 degree Chicago day, too heavy for me. Second visit Today was my second visit. I had the panini with mixed Italian meats and cheese. It was NOT AT ALL greasy or soggy. In fact, it was served directly from griddle to table. I also tasted the pizza today, as an appetizer. The cheese pizza was high quality because the crust was thin and crisp, the cheese was fresh and not oily (sign of cheap cheese) and the sauce had a zing without being too spicy. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor tables and chairs, they bring the food to you once you have ordered and paid at the counter. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. I highly recommend LoLo to anyone from business people to families.

I order lunch from Lolo's all the time. The Tuna panini with american cheese is a great bargain with chips and a can of soda for under $6.00. The Italian panini is also good.

This place is a hidden gem in the heart of Elmwood Park. I guarantee after going here once, you will be a patron for life. The food is delicious at a great price. Very cozy, 'old school' environment. No frills. No Bells and Whistles. Friendly environment but not in that annoying 'too friendly' corporate chain kinda way. They only accept cash but have an ATM inside.

Hallelujah! This is the closest thing to a Capizzi's pizza that we've had in a long, long time. Turns out their pizza maker, Jeff, used to work at Jumbo John's on Grand, and, if you're a Capizzi's fan, you know that's where you could get their pizzas from after the restaurant near North & Austin closed. It's the same sweet-tasting sauce and of course the one piece of sausage per slice. Try this place out if you need a Capizzi's fix.

This little place is right around the corner from where I work and we ALWAYS order and its good. The subs and salads are nothing fancy but the prices are dirt cheap. The girls I work with are big fans of the chicken salad salad. It's delish. The owner is the nicest man in the world! It's a great place for lunch if you are on our side of the tracks in EP!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I order from here at least 3 times a week (I work just a few blocks away). My food is ALWAYS delivered within 7 (no exaggeration) to 25 minutes. I usually order the same thing - soup and sub. They have different soups each day and all of them are incredibly tasty. The subs are also amazing. I don't eat in too often, but the restaurant itself has a nice, neighborhood feel. The staff are amazing. Super friendly and constantly courteous. My family has also had them cater to different parties. We usually do a sub platter with misc. subs. Again, great pricing for groups and all of our family and friends were asking where we got the food. This place is DEFINITELY worth checking out.

Sub's are great. Pasta pretty good. Italian Ice is awesome, but a bit pricey. Staff & owner were nice & friendly. You can sit & read the newspaper while they're putting your order together. I like this place, not only because they have great subs & ice, but because this guy gives back to the community.
